Youth Classes
Volunteers Needed!
The Youth Center is looking for volunteers to teach cooking, sewing, and other interest areas. (Or, if you have a special talent you would like to teach youth between the ages of 5-18, you are welcome too!) Please contact the Youth Center at 731-4634 to find out more information.
Babysitting Class
Saturday, Jan. 28, 10 am to 3 pm
The Babysitting class is open to ages 11 & up. The course covers babysitting basics, business practices, ages and stages of youth children, behavior and guidance techniques, safety, emergencies, SIDS, CPR for Family & Friends through the American Heart Association. A test is given at the end of the course and those who successfully complete the course are issued a certificate that is good for one year.
Cost: $10 YP members; $20 non-members.

Memberships cost is $30.
*Note: AFI 34-249: Participants in open recreation must be 9 years or older. A parent or sibling over 16 years old must accompany youth, ages 6 - 8.
